Lava to launch India’s first tablet running Android Jelly Bean 4.2

Lava has announced that it will be India’s first Android Jelly Bean 4.2 tablet and will be available in the first week of May with a price under Rs 10,000.

In terms of specifications, the tablet will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. It will also feature 2-magapixel rear and VGA front cameras and an HDMI port.This tablet will be Wi-Fi only and not have any cellular connectivity. It will also have a 3,700 mAh battery.
