LG is reportedly working on the Nexus 5, likely to be introduced at the Google I/O

With Google’s I/O around the corner, rumor mills have been working round the clock hinting at the kind of devices we might get to see at the event. A report on KoreanTimes now adds to these rumors by claiming that LG has again partnered with Google to develop the Nexus 5.

According to the report, Google’s CEO Larry Page and LG Electronics CEO Koo Bon-joon met up recently and has quoted a source as saying, “Currently, the consumer electronics arm of LG Group is working with Internet-giant Google to make another Nexus-branded Google Android smartphone.”This is not the first time we are hearing about LG allegedly working on the next Nexus. During this year’s CES, LG’s James Fisher went off track and said that the Nexus 4 was “the first of many”, hinting at more incoming Nexus hardware made by LG.If earlier reports are to be believed, the Nexus 5 seems to be sporting a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) display with a bezel measuring just 1mm.
It is expected to feature a 2GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. The report further claims that Google is most likely to reveal the Nexus 5 at I/O and then launch it during the Holiday season.
