LG announces white nexus 4 , with same features and will roll out globally in coming weeks.

Today, the South Korean giant announced a white version of the Android device that will be globally launched in the coming weeks.

Contrary to the previously leaked reports, the white Nexus 4 won’t be running on the forthcoming Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and instead sports the exact same features and specifications as the present Nexus 4.

To remind you of the specifications, the Nexus 4 flaunts a 4.7-inch WXGA HD (1280×768 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Other features included on the phone are an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3-megapixel camera at the front, 16GB of internal memory, support for wireless charging and a 2,100mAH battery. On the software front, as we mentioned above, the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

There’s no word on any price change and we expect the phone to be available for Rs 25,990 when it finally comes to our shores. On the availability, LG has said that the device will go on sale in Hong Kong on May 29, before rolling out in ‘select markets’ in Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East in the coming weeks.
