After launching the Z10 back in February Blackberry seems to be readying the Q10 for a launch in India. The Canadian company has slowly started sending out media invites for an event on June 6 where it is likely to launch the Q10, FirstPost reports.
BlackBerry India has also started a teaser campaign on its Twitter page, where it recently tweeted, “BlackBerry Q10 is coming to India soon. Stay tuned on our page for all the latest updates!”
This is not the first time we are hearing about a potential launch of the Q10. Earlier this month, the QWERTY BB10 device was spotted on e-commerce sites accepting pre-orders for the device and also claiming that the phone would launch at the end of the month. A user could book the device by paying Rs 1,000 and then pay the rest after the device was finally available. But that is clearly not happening.
To remind you of the specifications, the Q10 features a 720×720 pixels resolution 3.1-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB of storage, a 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front facing camera and an 2,100mAh battery.
