Just after giving a big UI update to its Gmail app, the search giant has now updated it’s Calendar for Android with the most important thing that is letting users add colour codes to different events.
Google has made it easier to add an event to one’s calendar with a redesigned date and time picker. Users can now customize reminders according to any time zone in the world and setting reminders for recurring events has also been made easy. With Google adding the ‘repeat’ feature, one can set a reminder for say every Thursday in a month and so on.
The biggest feature is the ability to add colors and users are offered around 24 colors to choose from. One can set a specific color to a particular event or appointment to make it more visible.
However, it is only available to devices running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and above.
