Not patient to wait till June 20, Samsung today officially announced the Galaxy S4 mini. The pint-sized variant of the Galaxy S 4 features a 4.3-inch qHD display, an 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras, 8GB internal memory with a microSD card slot, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and a 1,900 mAh battery.
The Galaxy S4 mini will come in LTE, HSPA+ and dual-SIM variants indicating that Samsung is looking at a wider launch than what it did with the Galaxy S III mini that wasn’t launched in India. It will also feature most of the software features found on the Galaxy S 4 including the camera features, S Health, S Translator and WatchOn.
The Galaxy S4 mini also features an IR port, NFC, Wi-Fi 5.0GHz and all other connectivity options. Check out the detailed specs of the Galaxy S4 mini in the next post.
