During the recently concluded WWDC 2013, Apple previewed iOS 7 and with it also revealed that the new OS would bring support for gaming controllers. Though it didn’t reveal any hardware, the first photo of an alleged iPhone gaming controller has surfaced on gaming site Kotaku.
The report shows a blurry photo of a controller developed by hardware giant Logitech and much like any gaming controller around; this too sports four action buttons, a D-Pad and a lightning port to connect an iPhone or the latest-generation iPod touch. The angle of the photo makes it difficult to say if the controller has any shoulder buttons.
Kotaku insists that the above photo is absolutely authentic, though it fails to mention any more details of the controller or when we would get to see this device in the stores. We would reserve our judgment till we come across some more information.
