Facebook has introduced a new program for developers and beta testers called the Android beta testing program, which will enable users and developers alike to have access to the latest features before they are publicly rolled out. Of course, this also means the user will need to deal with an app which is very buggy and would be prone to crashing. The idea is that users will be able to provide feedback to Facebook about the new features and accordingly the company would move forward.
The new Play Store that Google has rolled out which now lets developers to deploy applications to a subset of beta testers has allowed Facebook to launch its new program. Any user can join the beta program and users will get a small batch of fixes and new features every month.
Facebook has also launched a Google Group for its beta testers and anyone can sign up for the beta program after signing into the group. Currently, nothing has been specified about what to expect in the releases.
