Only a few hours ago we posted specs of the Nokia Lumia 1020 which will launch later tonight at an event in New York city. Now even the Verge has posted more or less the same details about incoming Nokia hero smartphone, along with new press renders, that also show the phone lodged in the rumored camera grip accessory. In addition to this @vizileaks has posted screenshots of what appears to be Nokia’s Pro camera app, which has been specifically designed for the Lumia 1020.
Going by the images it looks like the Lumia 1020 will attain a profile similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom when it’s packaged inside the camera grip accessory. On the side we also get to notice a 4-LED charge level indicator that has been seen before on Nokia smartphones.
The screenshots of the camera app posted reveal a radial interface that appears to be quite intuitive, which gives the user quick access to settings like ISO, white balance, metering, shutter speed and exposure. There will also be a menu option that will allow the user to have a custom grid in place including grid formations for the rule of thirds, golden ratio, crosshairs or even a square frame. Users will also be able to shoot the images at maximum resolutions and standard resolutions at the same time via a feature called dual capture.
As far as the core feature set is concerned we already know that the Lumia 1020 will have a 41-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and will have a f/2.2 aperture. It will have a Xenon flash for stills and an LED flash for video. It will also combine optical image stabilization, and will have a six element lens like the Lumia 925.
The phone itself will be powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and there will be 32GB of internal memory but no microSD card slot. It will have a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels. It will have a 2,000 mAh battery and it will be slimmer and lighter than the Lumia 920 at 10.4mm and 154 grams. It will support wireless charging via separately sold covers, in addition to having a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera with a wide lens and NFC connectivity.
