We have been hearing quite a bit about Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in the past few weeks and last month we finally got to see the first leaked photos of the OS running on a Samsung Galaxy S4. Now, Modaco has spotted a leaked pre-release build version of the OS (JWR66N) meant for the Nexus 4.

The story behind this leaked build goes like this. Google+ user Jeff Williams bought a Nexus 4 off Craiglist from a Googler, which turned out to be running on Android 4.3. With the help of some experts, Williams was able to extract a system dump and create a backup of the ROM from his device. According to some reports, this dump is a legitimate build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean minus the radio and bootloader.

If you are one of those brave ones who don’t mind tinkering with their phones, then you can head over to the XDA Developers site , where you will find the files. The build is currently in TWRP (TeamWin recovery) backup format so you’ll need to ensure you have the custom recovery installed.

For the rest of you, who like to play it safe, there’s hardly a week for the July 24 event in San Francisco, where Google is expected to unveil Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
