It seems that BlackBerry might have some more tricks up its sleeves. After the leak of the BlackBerry Z30 the other day, we now have official looking press renders of what is claimed to be the BlackBerry Z15 from bberryblog. There were no indications of the existence of this smartphone that runs on BlackBerry 10 and sports a slider form factor that would remind many of the old BlackBerry Torch series.
The back of the Z15 looks like that seen on the Q10 and thus it might also be made out of the same fiber-based material as seen on the latter. If the photos are to be believed, the slider phone will come with both touch and type capabilities, and will feature the company’s well known QWERTY keypad beneath the touchscreen.
However, with no concrete information on the existence of Z15 and considering that the leaked images could purely be someone’s creation and we suggest you to take the report with a pinch of salt.
In another set of fresh photos leaked by Crackberry, the BlackBerry Z30, which was earlier known as the A10. It features a 5-inch OLED screen with 720p resolution, and is indicated to launch soon.
Rumors, leaked photos and videos so far have suggested the Z30 to be powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm S4 quad-core processor with Adreno GPU and 2GB of RAM. It is expected to run on the BB10.2 OS and come with an 8-megapixel rear camera. It is also believed to support 64GB of external storage along with 16GB of internal storage, a 2,800mAh battery and NFC support.
