After so many leaks, Nokia has finally announced the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. Both devices fall in the category of phablets and carry Nokia’s traditional candy-bar design.
Nokia Lumia 1320 – The midrange one
It comes with a 5-megapixel camera, dual-core processor and 6-inch 720p display. Price-wise, this is meant to be more affordable, costing $339 before taxes. The 1320 will launch early 2014 in China and Vietnam, before rolling out across Asia, and Europe in four colors — orange, yellow, black and white.
Nokia Lumia 1520 – The costly Bandit
It comes with a 6-inch screen with 1080p resolution. The 1520 will also come with GDR3 — the very latest Windows Phone 8 build. It’ll be Nokia’s first Lumia to arrive with Nokia Camera, a new camera app that fuses the best of the Pro and Smart cameras that came before it. The polycarbonate shell (recycled, no less) will come in yellow, red and white options. Nokia’s also bumped up the microphone count to four on its new Lumia, supporting stereo audio capture, while with 32GB and microSD-expandable storage up to 64GB, there should be no worry of space for audio, photos and video.
