Facebook has a new, redesigned Like button for you

Facebook has redesigned one of its most iconic buttons for the first time since it was released in 2010. The ‘Like’ button, which is now a part of almost every major website now has a bright blue background with the Facebook ‘f’ insignia and the word ‘Like’ in Helvetica typeface. The thumbs up icon remains but only when someone clicks on it to like something.

Facebook now also provides website owners to have a Like + Share combo option rather than having to choose between either. Redesigning a tiny button might not sound a big deal but it does become one when the statistics are revealed. According to Facebook, the Like and Share buttons are viewed over 22 billion times across more than 7.5 million websites daily, which is one of the reasons for Facebook becoming the largest referral traffic, bigger than all other social networks combined.
