Xolo has launched its latest flagship, the Q2000 smartphone a few days after it had discreetly unveiled A500s IPS and Q800 X-Edition smartphones. This dual-SIM Android phone is the latest addition in the company’s ‘Q’ series of quad-core processor equipped devices, and offers a 5.5-inch 720p display.
Features-wise, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6589W chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. The phone offers 8GB of internal memory which can further be expandable by up to 32GB using a microSD card. Talking of the camera, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash, and full HD video (1080p) recording support, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the software front, the phone runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and offers some preloaded applications including those powered by Xolo. Other features on the phone will include standard wireless connectivity options including support for 3G network. It houses a 2,600mAh battery with up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 520 hours of standby time on 2G network.
The Xolo Q2000 is available for Rs 14,999, and will be standing against the likes of Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 which has a bigger display, but comes with similar processor and is also priced slightly higher.
