Karbonn is teasing a new smartphone on the Titanium X smartphone on the company’s website. The company has only posted a picture of the Titanium X smartphone with some specification details and a caption saying ‘Your chance to enhance’ on the home page of its website but it has not disclosed the pricing and availability details of the phone.
As seen on the banner, the phone will come with a 5-inch full HD IPS display which we assume will offer 1080p resolution though the pixel count is not yet mentioned on the site. Karbonn has mentioned that the phone will run on 1.5GHz quad-core processor though it chooses to keep the manufacturer’s name discreet. However considering other features there is a possibility that it could be powered by the MediaTek 6589T processor which was lately seen on the Micromax Canvas Turbo and Xolo Q1000s as well. Both of these smartphones features similar specifications, though the Titanium X additionally offers NFC support as well. There is no information given on the RAM or memory front.
Further, the phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, a 5-megapixel front camera and houses a 2,300mAh battery. Talking of the software, the smartphone will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
With whatever has been revealed, it seems like Karbonn is all set to launch this phone to stand against the likes of Micromax’s latest smartphones like the Canvas Turbo and Canvas Magnus.
