Samsung Galaxy Core Plus is here with 4.2 Jelly Bean and 5-megapixels camera


Samsung has secretly launched a new smartphone, named the Galaxy Core Plus. The successor of its previously launched, the Galaxy Core, it was found to be listed on Samsung’s Korean site and is expected to cost same as the previous model. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Galaxy Core Plus phone is not very much different from the previous model. It sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (480 x 800) TFT display and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor, though the RAM size on this one is lesser than that on the previous model. So instead of 1GB of RAM, the Core Plus features a 768MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage, which is accompanied by an additional 50GB of free storage on Google Drive and up to 64GB of external memory support on a microSD card. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera with the standard video recording and video calling capabilities. On the connectivity front, the phone comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS/AGPS and in addition to that also offers NFC support.
