In addition to the Desire 700, HTC showed three other smartphones at the event in Taiwan— Desire 501, Desire 601 and the Desire 300, Android Community reports. All these mid-range smartphones have been launched in Taiwan with no indication of when they will arrive in the international markets.
Talking of specifications, the Desire 501 features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.15GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot and a 2,100mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and it runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under Sense UI. It is priced at NT$ 9,900 (Rs 20,800 approximately).
The Desire 601 gets a slightly bigger 4.5-inch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, but only gets a 5-megapixel rear camera and half the amount of internal storage, though it can be expanded using a micr0SD card. Connectivity options are the same as above, but with dual-SIM card slots included. It is priced at NT$ 10,900 (Rs 22,900 approximately).
Lastly, the Desire 300 is the budget device with a 4.3-inch (854×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4. Other features included are 512MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera and 4GB of expandable memory. It is priced at NT$ 7,900 (Rs 16,600 approximately).
