Facebook reportedly testing a ‘read-it-later’ feature

Services like Pocket and Instapaper let one save a link or article, so they can be read at a later date or time. Facebook is reportedly testing a similar feature, wherein one can save links shared on the News Feed. This feature was first spotted by MyTechSkool (via AllThingsD).

A set of leaked screenshots from the Facebook mobile app shows an option under apps with a bookmark icon called Saved. As mentioned above, one will be able to save links for later reading and they will all be collated under the Saved tab.

It’s not clear though at what point Facebook plans to roll out the feature to all. On being asked by AllThingsD, a Facebook spokesperson commented, “We’re constantly testing new features, but we have nothing further to share at this time.”
