Lumia 1520 shows up on Nokia’s official Tmall store in China

Nokia’s Lumia 1520 is in the rumour mills for a quite time now, although nothing much has been revealed yet. But, the company’s official Tmall store -which is an online marketplace in China- recently published a product detail page for the phablet. However, the page has no images of the product itself, but the listing shows the same information that we have seen in the leaks lately – A 6-inch 1080p display and 20-megapixel PureView camera. The page also shows a Snapdragon 800 Chipset and the price of the device is shown as 4,999 Yuan (about 50,000 INR) price tag.

While these specs could be of the international version just like Nexus 5 which was accidentally posted by Google on its Play Store, however till then we have to wait for the phablet to launch at the Nokia World Event tomorrow.

Micromax Canvas Turbo leaks in sketch image

Yesterday Micromax teased the Canvas Turbo, its forthcoming flagship, while unveiling Hollywood star Hugh Jackman as its new brand ambassador. But besides the millisecond glimpse at the device in the teaser ad, we have yet to see the device properly. Leakster MMXNewsaster has now posted a sketch that shows the form factor of the device clearly.

The sketch reveals that the Canvas Turbo will be the first device from Micromax to feature dual micro-SIM card slots. Additionally it reiterates the fact that the Canvas Turbo will flaunt a 1080p display along with featuring a 5-inch display and a 5-megapixel front camera. Other features likely to be included are 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, including all the software bells and whistles previously seen on the Canvas 4.

Considering the SIM card slots are on the side rather than on the rear panel, the Canvas Turbo could probably have non-removable battery, just like the Canvas Doodle 2.

LG G Flex leaks in press renders

After Samsung, there are rumours that LG might too launch a smartphone with flexible display. And today, some press renders have leaked that reveal the looks of the smartphone. Engadget’s sources confirm the device as the LG G Flex and reckon it will be launched next month. It is interesting to see that G Flex’s curve is completely opposite of what Samsung has done with the Galaxy Round.

While little is known about the specs of the phone, earlier rumors pegged a 6-inch display. The curved display offers more strength and is said to make the display almost unbreakable. We find the curves on the LG G Flex to be more user friendly keeping in mind the contours of one’s cheeks. But it remains to be seen whether these phone with curved displays become something bigger than a fad.
