Following nexus 4 and nexus 7, android kitkat update has been released for HTC One Google Play edition. This update is about 305 MB which you should be notified with or you can download it manually. This update is available to all the cariers.
Just as promised, Apple on Wednesday released the final version of its brand new iOS 7 operating system to the public. The new mobile software is available immediately for the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad (third and fourth generations), iPad 2, iPad mini and iPod touch (fifth generation). We called iOS 7 a major renovation that for the most part lacked real innovation when we previewed the software back in June. Today a number of screenshots leaked online showing the GDR3 update for WP8, thanks to WP Central forums. The screenshots reveal support for quad-core processor and 1080p display, hinting to the launch of the Nokia 1520 aka the “Bandit”.

Google today announced the next version of Android, believe it or not, would be called KitKat. Android 4.4, which was till today known as Key Lime Pie, will be the first Android version to be named after a commercial product. Google’s head of Android, Sundar Pichai, also announced today that Android had crossed a billion device activations. This means Android activations grew 100 percent since last September, when Google announced crossing the 500 million device activations mark.
