GTA V Xbox 360 owners advised against installing the ‘PLAY’ disc

GTA V Xbox 360 owners advised against installing the 'PLAY' disc

It looks like all isn’t well with Rockstar’s sprawling open world. The company’s latest open-world game, Grand Theft Auto 5 seems to have some issues on the Xbox 360 when the ‘Play’ disc is installed on to the console’s HDD. Because of this, Rockstar is recommending that people don’t install the disc for optimal performance.

Grand Theft Auto 5 has a mandatory installation required on both systems. The installation eats up a hefty 8GB of HDD space on the consoles, but is undoubtedly needed because of the large world of Los Santos. Xbox 360 users who don’t have an HDD can install the game on to a flash drive.

The latest GTA V which is said to have the best of graphics by Rockstar till now is out in stores today.

The modern-UI based Mozilla Firefox’s release for Windows 8 delayed

The modern-UI based Mozilla Firefox's release for Windows 8 delayed

The touch-based browser will not be making its way out till at least late January now. There’s a consolation, though – the Firefox “Preview Release” will still come bundled with the Aurora build of Firefox 26 for Windows desktop.

This version has been a long time coming for both Microsoft and Mozilla. Windows 8 was released back in October 2012 and the touch-compatible version of Firefox was announced in March this year. Interestingly, the target release for the project was Firefox 14. Thanks to all the nudges and delays that have been a part of this project, the Modern-UI based Firefox will only be out with Firefox 27 in January next year.

GOOGLE UNVEILS MOTO X, A CUSTOMISABLE ANDROID SMARTPHONE

GOOGLE UNVEILS MOTO X, A CUSTOMISABLE ANDROID SMARTPHONE

Motorola on Thursday unveiled a new smartphone that consumers can personalize with a choice of colors and materials, hoping to stand out in a crowded market and justify the $12.5 billion that Google Inc paid for the ailing handset maker.
The highly anticipated “Moto X” marks the cellphone maker’s first flagship device since Google bought the company in 2012, and is its latest attempt to break into a smartphone market dominated by Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics.

The phone’s customization options are a novel touch which may appeal to fashionistas, analysts said. But some analysts questioned whether the Moto X offers the kind of technological breakthroughs that will vault Motorola back into the top rungs of the mobile rankings.

The Moto X will go on sale in the United States at the end of August or the beginning of September for a suggested retail price of $199.99 to customers who sign a two-year contract at five of the biggest U.S. mobile network operators.
