Sony PlayStation 4 coming here in India on December 18


After launching it in USA, Sony is finally launching  its next-generation gaming console, the PlayStation 4, in India on December 18 as the company has started sending press invites.

The PlayStation 4 was announced earlier this year alongside the Xbox One. The console was launched in USA and other countries for $399 last month and has been receiving very well reviews. It had reached 1 million sales mark within day one of its launch and is doing better sales than Microsoft Xbox One.

GTA San Andreas now available to download on iOS App Store


GTA San Andreas, the highest selling game by Rockstar Inc, has made its debut on the iOS platform. The game is available on the App Store for Rs 390 and is compatible with iOS controllers.
The games also has cloud service that allows users to play the game on various devices.

San Andreas for iOS is a 1.5GB download and is compatible with devices starting from the iPhone 4S and later, iPad 2 and later, and both variants of the iPad mini. Rockstar has also promised that the game will be arriving on Android and Windows Phone platforms next week.

Instagram sends out press invites for an event scheduled on 12 December


The popular social image sharing app, Instagram, has sent out press invites for an event to be held on 12 December and will might introduce a new feature, CNET reports.

According to CNET-

The package, wrapped with brown paper and a white ribbon, contained a wooden block, 4 inches long and wide and 1.75 inches thick, covered with a printed Instagram shot and a slot in the back so it can be hung on the wall. The included note invited the press to “share a moment with Kevin Systrom and the Instagram team.” The event will kick off at 10 a.m. on December 12 in Midtown Manhattan.

CNET says that the invite itself suggests that perhaps Instagram will announce a service that would allow users to print their photos.

Assassin’s Creed : Pirates now live to download on iOS and Android

All the gaming fans out there, here’s a good news for y’all! The Assasssin’s Creed : Pirates is now live on the iOS and Android app stores.

In this franchise, the protagonist is Alonzo Batilla, an heroic, brave captain and pirate, and your task is to keep your minions in check and ensure your boats are well upgraded and ready for any kind of naval face-off you might encounter. As Assassin’s Creed goes, it’s pretty standard fare, although this is merely a compliment to how well Ubisoft has managed to replicate the tried-and-tested recipe for mobile devices.

The game is available at a price of $6.49( INR 520) for iOS and $4.99( INR 379) for Android. Another thing to note here is that the game is compatible with only select devices. If you own a compatible device we feel the game is worth the price tag and should be given a shot.

WhatsApp gets updated with a new iOS7 design


Here’s a good news for all the iOS 7 users out there. The popular messaging app, WhatsApp, has been updated with a new iOS7 design along with some other fixes and changes.

The app icon has been as well as the app have been flattered with a blue, grey and white colour scheme. The messaging app has also introduced a new feature that lets one choose specific lists of people to send a Broadcast message. Additionally, there are new notification ringtones, larger thumbnail images and an option to crop images before sharing them.
